German exporters are recovering faster than expected from the crash in the Corona pandemic

In August, their exports rose for the fourth month in a row, by 2.4 percent compared to the previous month, as the Federal Statistical Office announced.
As reported German companies exported goods worth 91.2 billion euro and imported goods worth 78.5 billion euro in August 2020. However, compared with August 2019, exports in August 2020 thus fell by 10.2% and imports by 7,9%.
