German economy highest growth ever in summer quarter

After the collapse due to the corona crisis in the spring, the German economy grew at record speed in the summer quarter.
The gross domestic product rose between July and September by 8.2 percent compared to the previous quarter. German economy is therefore likely to contract by 5.5 percent the current year. This would make it one of the worst recessions in the post-war period, but not quite as bad as 2009 in the global financial crisis.
